NEW YORK and NOIDA, India, Dec 18, 2025 – HCLTech, a leading global technology services company, today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Telco Solutions business of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). The business is part of HPE’s telecom solutions portfolio and delivers software and services to communication service providers worldwide.
The proposed acquisition is structured as an asset transfer and includes telecom software platforms, intellectual property, and a highly skilled global workforce. The total consideration for the transaction is expected to be up to USD 160 million, subject to customary closing adjustments, regulatory approvals, and other standard conditions. The transaction is anticipated to close within the next few months.
Strengthening Telecom and Network Capabilities
HPE’s Telco Solutions business provides advanced solutions across 5G core networks, subscriber data management, signaling, and operations support systems. Its offerings are widely used by telecom operators to improve network efficiency, reliability, and automation through AI-driven technologies.
With this acquisition, HCLTech aims to enhance its engineering-led and AI-powered network services, enabling communication service providers to accelerate the adoption of next-generation networks and digital operations.
